Public Transport
From Trieste aiport there are regular buses which take you into the city centre bus depot where you can catch another bus taking you into Istria calling at most of the main towns. The bus appropriate to get you close to Tar is anyone going towards Porec or Rovinj at a cost of approximately 10 euro.

Coming by train, you can arrive in Istria very quickly using the following lines:
