A small but picturesque town often favoured by many who visit Istria and its not hard to work out why. One of its most famous guests was Casanova who described his visits in his famous memoirs.

The narrow road into the town winds it way up full of colourfully painted houses and once at the top the views of the marina and surrounding islands are breathtaking. As you make your way back down you are not disappointed; the streets fill with tasteful bars and restaurants and for the sun seekers plenty of coves and small islands to whist the hours away. One of the more affluent areas in Istria, Vrsar is quite pricey when looking at Croatian Real Estate.
