Croatia is finally beginning to get the recognition it deserves again as travellers flock back to what was once the former Yugoslavia.
With the low cost airlines finally starting to use it as a destination, the future for Croatia and holiday makers a like looks bright. It is a fantastic yet simple country to travel. A new road in the far south stretching to the Hungarian, Slovenian and Italian borders in the north has made this long narrow country very accessible.
There is a more than reliable bus service that can carry you anywhere internally to all the major links throughout this part of Europe.
The currency is a simple one, 10 Kuna = 1 British pound approximately, however you will find that euros are widely accepted.
The food is of a high standard as are the local wines and very reasonably priced, the sun tends to shine, the water is clean and the people are friendly, just a few reasons why people are starting to travel Croatia again.
