With Croatia yet to become part of the EU, it still runs on its native currency, the Kuna. Euros are widely accepted in most restaurants, bars etc, however we’d highly recommend you carry a small amount of kuna for that odd ice cream or small beer you might fancy. The banks are modern and the cash machines plentiful. All major cards are commonly accepted.
