The long awaited arrival of Ryanairs service from London Stansted to Pula in southern Istria has opened up a whole new opportunity for travellers, going both to and from Croatia. The flight which runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays is approximately 2 hours long. Leaving at 9.50am, it can have you in Istria by 1pm. (with the 1hour time difference) The return flight leaves Istria at 15.00 and should have you back in the UK by 16.15

Pula airport, which is now fully open, is just 10 minutes from Pula City centre, 30 minutes from Rovinj, 40 minutes to Porec and 50 minutes to Novigrad.

Easyjet also offer a service from London Luton to Rijeka, north eastern Istria. Flights leave London Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12.50 arriving in Rijeka at 16.15. (with the 1 hour time difference). The return flight leaves at 16.40 and should have you back in the UK by 18.20. A Saturday service is also available, leaving at 15.15, arriving at 18.40, returning at 19.05 landing in the UK at 20.45.

Rijeka airport is situated on the busy Island of Krk. Rijeka city centre is approximately 30 minutes away. Orpatjil is a 45 minute drive with the stunning Island of Rab about an hour. Zadar is a further 30 minutes away.

Flights are also available with Easyjet flying from London Gatwick to Split all year round.

During the summer months charter flights are available from Bristol, Gatwick and Manchester flying to the majority of Croatias major airports.
