Central Dalmatia
Roman ruins, spectacular beaches, old fishing ports, Medieval and Renaissance architecture and unspoiled Islands make Central Dalmatia a great region to combine relaxation with historical discovery during your holidays to Croatia.
Central Dalmatia runs from Trogir in the north west, to Ploce in the south east and includes the large holiday islands of Brac and Hvar as well as the smaller islands of Vis, Bisevo and Solta. Split is the largest City in the region, with Diocelitian's palace, built in the first century being well worth a visit.
Southern Dalmatia
With some of the finest weather in Croatia, steeped in sunshine and bathed in mild Mediterranean breezes, the south eastern tip of Croatia is a lush region of coves, forested islands and, it's crowning jewel, the walled city of Dubrovnik. The coastal belt stretches from Ploce in the north to the Montenegrin border. It possesses the large Island of Korcula as will as a flurry of other smaller islands including the idyllic national park of Mlijet Island.
