A captivating Venetian town perched on a hill in the most beautiful part of Istria's interior. You can simply take a wonder around, admiring the 360º views, shops and art galleries, or make sure you drop by for the annual International Film Festival which takes place in the last week of July.

A well preserved medieval hill town giving spectacular views into the distance as well as down on the jumbled tile roofs of the buildings below. The path which runs around the ramparts must be one of the nicest strolls in Europe. The silhouette of Motovun is a landmark for surrounding towns, as well.
