Novigrad

Motovun | Novigrad | Porec | Pula | Rabac & Labin | Rovinj | Vrsar

This is smaller than Porec and Rovinj but with a similar layout of new town and attractive old town protruding into the sea.

The most interesting point about Novigrad is the construction of the new 5 star marina due for completion at the beginning of 2007 which will include 365 sea berths, 100 dry berths, 10 piers, with 5 star facilities including hotel, wine bars and restaurants.

Originally built in the 13th century as a commercial port to serve Venice, Novigrad has now become a busy resort, with a large collection of hotels and restaurants. There is a lovely shaded park on the end of the peninsula, and an attractive path along the coast outside the city wall which creates a great spot for you to spend your days while on holiday in Croatia.
