Istria

Motovun | Novigrad | Porec | Pula | Rovinj | Vrsar

Crystal clear waters, lush deserted islands, charming hilltop villages, vineyards, Roman Ruins, National Parks and over 2000 hours of sunshine a year makes Croatia the perfect destination to spend your free time.

From the young free and single to couples with kids, from active empty nesters to those nearing retirement, it seems there are many different people making Istria Croatia, their No.1 holiday destination.

Highlights

Rovinj – a medieval fishing harbour port with a distinct relaxed feel. The old town with its narrow cobbled streets, cafes and fine restaurants a plenty, protrudes out into the sea like a tiny peninsula with the offshore islands making for a stunning view. more info

Porec – The most popular resort on the west coast boasting many awards for tourism.  There are so many activities to be had here along with a good mix of restaurants and bars for those wanting a buzz.  Also home to a World Heritage site Basilica with magnificent frescoes. more info

Vsrar -  A small hilltop village with stunning views of the marina and surrounding islands  This is one of the most expensive areas in Istria for Real Estate. more info

Pula – the main draw to Pula is the remarkably preserved Roman Amphitheatre which hosts many performances; this year, Jamiroquai, Anastacia, Andrea Boccelli, Swan Lake and many more. more info

Motovun – A captivating Venetian town perched on a hill in the most beautiful part of Istria’s interior.  You can simply take a wonder around admiring the 360º views, shops and art galleries, or make sure you drop by for the annual International Film Festival which takes place in the last week of July. more info
